Cornell Class of '79 Cup
Judging from the turnout at our 50th Birthday Celebrations (including 120+ at the BU hockey pre-game party in Manhattan), the Class
of 1979 should be ready to make history at our 30th reunion next year: June 4-7, 2009. Larry Stone and Steve Magacs are beginning
long-range plans to make this a valuable and fun event for you and your family. The secret to the success of our reunions has
always been a creative group of classmates working behind the scenes. Roles such as treasurer and registration czar have been
filled, but there are vacancies ranging from "balloon inflation services" to "tent party captains." Be sure to visit the 30th
Reunion page, where you'll find a list of all positions we need to fill for the four days of Reunion.

In 2006 the Class of 1979 reached a milestone with our underwriting of the Sun Digitization project in conjunction with the Cornell
library. The Class of 1979 Library Endowment continues to enable Cornell's subscription to the electronic archives of Harper's
Weekly. Read the
