The 1979 Memorial Scholarship Fund
"The tender friendships one gives up, on parting, leave their bite on the heart, but also a curious feeling of a treasure somewhere buried." -- Antoine de Saint-Exupery

The 1979 Memorial Fund is a Cornell University endowed scholarship fund established to honor those whom in life shared their friendship, and in death give us the blessings of cherished memories. A common experience begun on the Cornell campus continues through your thoughtful support of this fund.

The preference for the Class of 1979 Memorial Scholarship will be to students with demonstrated financial need enrolled at Cornell University.  First preference will be given to legacies of the Class of 1979, with demonstrated financial need.  The students will have to identify themselves with the Office of Financial Aid as legacies of the Class of 1979 in order to qualify for this scholarship.  Second preference will be given to any student with demonstrated financial need.
